Our Story

We turn a diagnosis into a new beginning, welcoming every woman into a sisterhood of strength.

Sisterhood is Strength.

About Us

Agatha’s Space began as a community project hosted by SAWN (Support and Action for Women Network) for three years before becoming a registered Community Interest Company (CIC) in April 2025.

We are a community of women who refuse to be defined by HIV.

Agatha’s Space CIC is a safe, empowering home led by lived experience where women support one another, grow in confidence, and turn their stories into strength.

We stand for visibility, equality, and hope. Together, we are changing how the world sees HIV one woman, one story, one community at a time.

At Agatha’s Space CIC, we create safe, trauma-informed spaces where women living with HIV are empowered, respected, and supported to live confidently and free from stigma.

We work across health services, workplaces, schools, and community organisations to build understanding, challenge stigma, and ensure nobody is left behind in this fight to end stigma and end new HIV transmissions

Our Mission

At Agatha’s Space CIC, our mission is to empower women living with HIV to heal, be seen, rebuild confidence, and achieve financial independence.

We also work to educate our communities about HIV promoting understanding, ending stigma, and helping to stop new transmissions.

Through creativity, storytelling, and community connection, we turn pain into purpose and build a stronger, more compassionate world.

Our Vision

Our vision is to build a world where women living with HIV are free from stigma and seen beyond their status.

A world where U=U is understood, where being undetectable means living healthy, loving freely, and never passing on the virus.

We want communities that respond with compassion, not judgment where every woman feels safe, valued, and empowered to live boldly.

Through awareness, storytelling, and education, we are shaping a future of understanding, equality, and hope for all.
